My name is Taylor Goodling, I come from a golf course background where my grandpa was the Superintendent at Broadmoor Golf Course for 40+ years. My dad and his brother worked summers for him and developed a passion for the maintenance, chemistry, and esthetics of a golf course. Naturally, I developed the same love for the industry, as I went to the course with my dad as a young kid, in the afternoons to water. My love for the turf industry grew as I started working for my dad at Portland Golf Club at the age of 15 every summer until I graduated from High School. Working at golf courses continued at The Reserve, Gearhart Golf Links, and Manzanita Golf Links. I love the attention to detail that you learn working on the maintenance staff at a golf course. I was the Assistant Superintendent at The Reserve and Gearhart; I had an opportunity to become a Superintendent at Manzanita Golf Course where I worked for 4 years.
After 15 years in the golf industry, my fiancé and I finally moved back to the Portland area and into a house in Vancouver. After spending the last year renovating and looking for a new job opportunity, I decided to purchase my own landscape business and start a new chapter in my working career.
All Metro Landscape Solutions was formed in March 2023.
